Lembro-me de estar a comer leite com Chocapic quando vi as torres a cair. Não vou falar sobre isto porque acho que já está tudo (ou quase tudo) dito.
É estranho pensar que já se passaram 10 anos...!

A última digressão dos Beatles na América. Estava a ler o livro The Catcher in the Rye, de J. D. Salinger, quando me lembrei disto!!

Já agora o livro não é nada de mais e fiquei deprimida ao lê-lo. E pensar que foi por causa deste monte de papel que mataram o John Lennon...

P.S. Alguém já comprou a última edição da revista Rolling Stone??

Há meio século, a melhor banda de todos os tempos iniciou oficialmente a sua carreira.

50 anos depois continuam a ser reconhecidos como a melhor banda de todos os tempos.

The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil - 5th Anniversary

Sir Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono & Sean Lennon, Olivia & Dhani Harrison, Sir George & Giles Martin, along with Cirque du Soleil President & CEO Daniel Lamarre, LOVE Director Dominic Champagne and Artistic Guide Gilles St-Croix, joined celebrity friends and family at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for the 5th Anniversary celebration of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. Ringo is currently on tour in Europe and sent a video message that was played at the top of the show for more than 2,000 attendees.

Ringo Starr said, "George Harrison and Guy Laliberte had a chat at a party and it’s still rolling on. I feel like it’s one of those magic moments. George, who brought the idea to Apple, would have been pleased with the results and I truly think John would have, too. I mean, what’s not to like, it’s a really cool show."

Sir Paul McCartney said, “As I said to George Martin at a rehearsal of the show in 2006, for me what is really strange about this is remembering writing these things, which is so little, little guitar, little piano, a little bit of paper and pencil on the back of an envelope, Sgt. Pepper or something. It is such a little process and now look what happened to it. It’s incredible.”

Olivia said "It would have made George so proud and happy to be here on the 5th anniversary of our wonderful show in Las Vegas. We look forward to being back here in 5 more years"

Yoko Ono Lennon said, “John would have been thrilled to see the success of LOVE after 5 years. In fact, he would have been proud of how his music has been presented so beautifully and successfully by the partnership of The Beatles and Cirque du Soleil. The Beatles’ family members are getting together for this occasion in Las Vegas to celebrate this momentous occasion, and I am happy to be here."

Sir George Martin said, “The Beatles music is really some of the best music we’ve had in the last century. Children continue to rediscover the music, generation after generation. It’s like saying why is Gershwin timeless? Their music is part of history, it will last forever.”

Viva ao 9 de Maio!

     Dia 9 de Maio completo 14 anos e normalmente este dia nunca corre bem. Já vão perceber porquê.

Apesar de este ano a tradição de ficar doente não se cumprir, não consigo estar totalmente contente sabendo que o meu Beatle favorito vai dar um concerto e nem sequer se vai lembrar de mim [Ok, ele não me conhece mas não interessa!].

     Só me resta desejar um bom concerto aos seres humanos que vão estar presentes neste dia histórico, e também que se esqueçam dos 2006 € que tiveram de gastar [só no bilhete] para ver o Paul McCartney!

     P.S. Estou carente de animais. A noite passada sonhei que tinha com um urso polar de estimação. Esta noite vou dormir agarrada ao meu periquito…!

Paul McCartney anunciou oficialmente o casamento com a sua namorada Nancy Shevell. Só espero que não seja preciso gastar mais 50 milhões de libras só para o divórcio que ainda não chegou ao fim…

Algumas informações necessárias: Nancy é uma executiva Nova Iorquina, divorciada, 51 anos de idade. Começou a namorar com Paul McCartney há cerca de 4 anos.

Opinião pessoal: Mulher educada, com boa aparência

Capaz de fazer Paul McCartney feliz? Não tanto como fez a Linda, mas muito mais do que fez a Heather Mills. O resto é esperar para ver!
